Melissa Anne Egan Casella passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015. She was 30 years old.
Born in Edison, she resided in the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Township for most of her life.
Melissa was a 2002 graduate of John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in Iselin and was employed as a manager at Martini 494 Bistro in Newark.
She belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords; and was a member of the Woodbridge American-Irish Association.
Melissa was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Rose Egan; and her maternal grandparents, Raymond J. Handerhan and Eleanor Bulhauer Handerhan.
Surviving are Salvatore G. Casella; their children, Richard S. and Annabelle J. Casella; her parents, Kenneth M. and Nancy Handerhan Egan, of Menlo Park Terrace; a sister, Danielle N. Egan, of Menlo Park Terrace; a brother, Patrick K. Egan, of Menlo Park Terrace; and her paternal grandfather, Richard Egan, of Menlo Park Terrace.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fords. Entombment will follow at Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.
