Maureen Polak of Perth Amboy, NJ passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side.  She was 80 years old.

She was an amazing mom and grandmom and would do anything for her family.

Born in Perth Amboy to Martin and Marie Fimiani. She would move away from Perth Amboy for a short time and return for the remainder of her life. She was a communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

Mrs. Polak was employed as a Dietary Director with Amboy Care Center in Perth Amboy before her retirement.  While there, she made many connections with both staff and residents, many of whom would remain close in her heart. Although her social circle was small, her cherished friends meant the world to her and for that her family wishes to thank you all.

She was predeceased by her parents Martin Fimiani and Marie Lesniak Fimiani; a sister Barbara Polak and a sister-in-law Joan Fimiani.

She is survived by her son Thomas J. Polak IV; her daughter Marie Garon; her grandson Frankie Garon who was the love of her life; her brother Martin Fimiani; and five nieces.

Funeral services will take place on Monday July 19, 2021 at 10:30 am at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Route #1 and Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. James R.C. Church, 149 Grove St, Woodbridge, NJ in mom's memory.
