Maureen "Renee" Patterson of Manhattan passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.  She was 82 years old.

Born and raised in New York City, she was a lifelong resident.

Maureen was a Branch Manager for The City of New York Off Track Betting Corporation at their lower Manhattan location for many years retiring in 2011.

She was a devoted Roman Catholic and communicant of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan, and a very charitable person.  Maureen cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially during the Christmas holidays.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Anna Patterson; her brother John Patterson; and her sister Catherine "Kitty" Yarmack.

Surviving are her nieces, of which she referred to as her "Fabulous Five" Lorraine Bishop and her husband John of Jensen Beach, Florida; Kathy Reno and her husband Tim of Toms River; Barbara Smith and her husband Jim of Woodbridge; Judy Calabrese and her husband Chris of Port Reading; and Karen Rucando and her husband Mike of Monroe; nine grandnieces and grandnephews; 8 great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews; and 1 great-great-grandnephew.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum in Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Maureen's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
