Maureen Harbachuk passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 71 years old.

Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York on May 2nd 1945, she has resided in Edison since 1971.

Mrs. Harbachuk was employed as Assistant Manager with Rutgers University at their convenience store prior to her retirement.

She belonged to Trinity Episcopal Church in Woodbridge.

Mrs. Harbachuk was predeceased by a sister, Nona Bines, in 2002; and by her parents, Gertrude and Allen Francis.

Maureen was a loving wife, full-time mother and a caring grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Ronald F. Harbachuk; two sons, Ronald A. Harbachuk of Edison and Robert F. Harbachuk, along with daughter-in-law, Wendi A. Harbachuk of Aberdeen; a brother, Allen Francis, of Edison; and three grandchildren, Dylan, Heather and Jake.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will follow in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Hopelawn. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street in Woodbridge .

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Trinity Church Restoration Fund, 650 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ in Mrs. Harbachuk's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
