Maureen Dries passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Kindred Hospital New Jersey in Dover. She was 86 years old.

Born in Newark, she resided in Bloomfield for most of her life before moving to Marlboro 15 years ago.

Mrs. Dries was employed for many years as a cashier at Brookdale Shop-Rite in Bloomfield until retiring in 2004.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Dries, in 1987.

Surviving are her children, Diane Dalconzo of Sarasota, FL, Suzanne Walsh of Brick, Charlene Schrum of Bloomfield and Darlene Catalano of Port Reading; longtime companion, Daniel Sullivan; grandchildren, Joseph, Jason, Alexa, Jacob, Natasha, Jaden and Nayla; and great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jackson, Kasady, Elena, Isabela and Mia.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge.   A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Port Reading. Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
