Matthew Mark Nieto of Readington passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at home. He was 47 years old.

Born in Rahway, he has resided in Readington since 1996.

Matt was a 1995 graduate of Saint Benedict's Preparatory School in Newark, where he excelled at soccer. He loved snowboarding, traveling, music and sneakers

Matt was predeceased by his, father Paul Nieto, in 2018.

Surviving are his wife Laura Kaczur-Nieto; mother Monica DiBenedetto Nieto; brother, Michael Nieto, and his fiancé, Naomie; and nieces, Lena Sophia and Madison Angel.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.  A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Visiting hours will be on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
