Mary V. Larkin passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Mary was 86 years old.

Born in Manhattan, NY, she resided in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township for over 50 years before moving to Avenel 2 years ago.

Mrs. Larkin was employed in the Enviormental Service Department at JFK Medical Center in Edison for 15 years before retiring in 2003.

She was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading; and belonged to Don Bosco Knights of Columbus #5809 Columbiettes, Woodbridge Butterfly Club, and the Woodbridge Garden Club.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen P. Larkin, Jr., in 2001; daughter, Mary Carroll; son, Michael Larkin; and five brothers and sisters, Nora O'Keefe, Catherine Benowitz, Anna Sheridan, David O'Keefe and Cornelius O'Keefe.

Surviving are her children, Anna Hennelly, Stephen P. Larkin III, Timothy Larkin, Kevin Larkin, Cornelius Larkin, Regina Larkin-Masse and Johanna Lynch; twenty three grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Port Reading. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Mary's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
