Mary Ann Grace Kalinowski passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at home in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township. She was 79 years old. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Avenel for the past 50 years. Mrs. Kalinowski was employed at Sciortino's Bakery in Avenel and as a Machine Tender for Revlon in Edison for many years before retiring in 1997. She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel. Mrs. Kalinowski was predeceased by her husband, Raymond S. Kalinowski, in 2007; and her parents, Joseph and Veronica Grace. Surviving are three daughters, Karen Lorentz and her husband, Robert, of North Oaks, MN, Jeanne Jenkins and her husband, Robert, of Avenel and Mary Ellen Lisco and her husband Dominick, III of Middlesex; three sisters, Patricia Kearns of Palmetto, FL, Judith Matusaites of Bayonne and Veronica Scherbert of Jackson; two brothers, Joseph Grace of Jersey City and Edward Grace of Mendham; seven grandchildren, Kristin, Kimberly, Amanda, Nicole, Robert, Julie and Emma; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will follow in Valor Hill at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
