Martha Lanza passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in Neptune, NJ. She was 82 years young.

Born on April 18, 1943 in New York City to the late Fay and Frank Pagano.

She always had a love for her home state, living in Brooklyn and on Staten Island for larger portions of her life, then moving to Manchester, NJ and lastly resided in Ocean for the past year and a half with her family.

Mrs. Lanza was employed with various construction firms in the New York City area for many years before retiring as the head bookkeeper with Carpet Gallery on Staten Island.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Lanza was predeceased by her beloved husband, George L. Lanza, in 2010.

Surviving are her son, Peter Lanza and his wife, Michele, of Ocean; sisters, Lucille Spata of Brooklyn, NY, Marie Barone of Staten Island, NY and Francine Asciolla of Staten Island; and grandchildren, Juliana Faye Lanza and Pietro Joseph Lanza.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m..

Although she loved her flowers, In lieu of them, please send contrubutions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Mrs. Lanza's memory as it would be greatly appreciated by her & her family.
