Marion Thomas Cummings Sobieski passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. She was 98 years old.

Born in Bayonne, she resided in Brooklyn before moving to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township in 1960.

Mrs. Sobieski was employed at Sciortino's Bakery in Avenel for many years and had previously worked at Fitzgerald's Hotel, also in Avenel. She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

Marion was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Cummings and Stanley Sobieski; a daughter, Joanne Nutter; and a sister, Loretta Thomas.

Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Letso, of Avenel; three grandchildren, John Letso, Joanne Clack and James Nutter; and four great grandchildren.
