Marion Murphy of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, Novmber 12, 2018 at The Venetian Care and Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy. She was 92 years old.

Born in Scranton, PA; She resided in Avenel most of her life.

Mrs. Murphy was a resident of Maple Tree Manor inAvenel.

She was predceased by her husband Frank Murphy; her son Private First Class, United States Army Timothy Murphy who died in action in Vietnam; her sisters and brothers Paul Deininger, Ruth Sporer, and Joan McKechnie.

She is survived by her daughter Colleen Murphy of South Amboy; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will take place Friday, November 16 , 2018 from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Cremation was private.
