Marion A. Maciol passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Joseph's Home in Woodbridge with her loving children at her side. She was 88 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY; She resided in Franklin Square, New York before moving to Woodbridge 3 months ago.

She received her bachelor's degree in Business from New York University.

Mrs. Maciol was a Communicant of St. Catherine's R.C. Church in Franklin Square, NY, and a member of the Franklin Square Senior Citizens Club where she enjoyed many activities such as Bingo, Knitting & Calligraphy with her friends.

Marion was a passionate fan of Opera Music and would enjoy listening to it for hours.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter Maciol who passed away in 1989; her parents Michael and Sophie Makarewicz Dzugala; and her sister Rose Beattie.

Surviving are her beloved children Michael Maciol M.D., and his wife Wendy, and Theresa Housel; two grandchildren Michael Maciol and Krystina Housel; and a caring son-in-law James Housel.

Prayers will take place Monday, December 11, 2017 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Interment will be in The Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, NY.

Visiting hours will take place Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.
