Mario LoBasso passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. He was 76 years old.

Born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy, he has resided in Port Reading since 1975.

Mr. LoBasso was employed as a Draftsman with Lockwood-Greene Engineers in Somerset before his retirement.

He was predeceased by his parents, Damiano and Lucia Mastrofiliappo LoBasso.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline Ciannamea LoBasso; daughter, Susan Della Sala and her husband, Thomas, of Iselin; sons, Damiano LoBasso and his wife, Regina, of Monroe and Marino LoBasso of Port Reading; sister,Elisabetta Lisa Maramonte, of River Edge; brothers, Francesco LoBasso of Pennsylvania, Onofrio LoBasso of Rivervale and Sergio LoBasso of Port Reading; grandchildren, Mario, Thomas, Joseph and Nicolas; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
