Marilyn J. Singer passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 73 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on November 17, 1951 to the late Norma and Frank Singer, she has resided in Woodbridge for most of her life.

Miss Singer was employed as a cook with the M.C.E.O.C. HeadStart program in Perth Amboy for 34 years before her retirement in 2016.

She was a former member of Woodbridge Gospel Church and belonged to the Pioneer Girls at Woodbridge Gospel Church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Singer of South River.

Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Melissa and Glenn Abrams, of Edison; sister, Debbie Singer, of Woodbridge; brother, Brian Singer, of Woodbridge; and beloved granddaughter, Morgan Abrams.  And many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
