Marieta Borja passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 60 years old.

Born in Bacnotan, Philippines, she has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for 28 years.

Mrs. Borja has been employed as office manager with Corby Hall Restaurant Supply in Randolph since 2000; and was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Edwin Borja; children, Jaclyn Camacho and her husband, Michael, of Avenel and Brian Borja and his fiancee, Gertrude Figueroa, of Avenel; brothers and sisters, Nemesio, Francis and Hilario Espe, Beatriz Goco and Perla DeGuzman; her and grandson, Jacob, and another granddaughter on the way.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
