Marie Louise Scalingi passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 93 years old.

Born in Ay-sur-Moselle, France, she resided in Clark before moving to the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township 13 years ago.

Mrs. Scalingi was predeceased by her husband, Quido E. Scalingi, in 1997; a son, Guido Scalingi, in 2012; and daughter in law, Patricia Scalingi.

She is survived by her children, Danielle Van Duyne of Woodbridge, Eugene Scalingi of Belleville and Marie DeFalco and her husband, James, of Cape May; son in law, Robert Van Duyne, of Woodbridge; sister, Christiane Candusso, of Ay-sur-Moselle, France; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street in Woodbridge . Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org), 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Mrs. Scalingi's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
