Marie "Pat" O'Connell of the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 at home. She was 89 years old.

Born in Jersey City, NJ; She resided in Iselin most of her life.

Mrs. O'Connell was an accounts receivable supervisor with General Electric in Edison for several years before retiring in 1985.

She was predeceased by her husband William O'Connell who passed away in 1990; three sisters Ann Boettger, Helen Skorski, and Irene Maluta; and two brothers Anthony Skorski, and Ted Skorski.

She is survived by two daughters Diane Vargas of Fords, and Janet O'Connell of Iselin; a son Dennis O'Connell of Avenel; Four Grand Children Kerry O'Connell Blaze, Justin Vargas, Brian O'Connell, and Ryan Vargas; four great-grandchildren Sean, Jackson, Riley, and Lyla Rose.

Funeral will take place Friday 11:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home ( www.Costello-koyen.com ) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. a 11:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrews R.C. Church, Avenel. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.

Visiting hours will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
