Marie Jensen passed away on Friday July 11, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 95 years old.

Born on August 26, 1929 in Sewaren, she was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge Township.

Marie was employed as a school bus driver with the Woodbridge Township Board of Education for 25 years before her retirement 1996.

Marie and Ray loved to travel and enjoyed many wonderful trips to Hawaii, Alaska, Bermuda, and Las Vegas, but most of all, the Outer Banks of North Carolina where many wonderful family vacations were taken. They also went to many U.S. Navy reunions over the years throughout the country. Marie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their various school and sporting events. Marie was an avid New York Mets and New York Rangers fan. She will be tremendously missed by many casinos around the country.

Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Jensen, in 2023; grandson, Conor C. Policastro, in 2014; and son in law, Charles J. Policastro III in 2012.

Surviving are her children, William T. Jensen and his wife, Deborah, of Edison and Lynne M. McGrath and her husband, Edward, of Lincoln, DE; and grandsons, Michael L. Jensen and Evan C. Policastro of Washington, NJ.

Mrs. Jensen was laid to rest with her husband during a private family service at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.

Funeral services were entrusted to Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
