Marie Cursi passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Care One at East Brunswick Nursing Center. She was 91 years old.

Born on April 15, 1934 in Newark to the late Viola and Joseph Vagueiro, she was a longtime resident of Woodbridge Township.

She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel; and belonged to the Alter Rosary Society there.

In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert P. Cursi, Jr., in 2021.

Surviving are her son, Anthony Cursi and his wife, Donna, of Spotswood; and grandchildren, Audra Marie Onofrietti and her husband, Marc, and T.J. Cursi and his husband, Jesse Farmer; and great grandchildren, Matteo, Olivianna and Arabella.

Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
