Marianne E. Jasper passed away on March 8, 2023 at her daughter's home in Woodbridge. She was 90 years old.

Born in Port Reading on April 17, 1932, to the late Alphonsa and Joseph A. Rizzo, Sr., she was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge Township.

Mrs. Jasper was employed as assistant to the director with the Woodbridge Township Office of Planning and Development for many years prior to her retirement. While working at this position she supervised the township's HUD program.

Marianne was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge; and active with the Woodbridge Township Democratic Party.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph T. Jasper, in 2016; son, James Jasper, in 2022; grandson, Anthony David Molis, in 1998; and sister, Nina Rizzo Lane, in January of this year.

Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Jasper Molis and her husband, Buddy, of Woodbridge; brother, Joseph Rizzo, Jr., of Afton, NY; grandsons, Christopher Molis and his wife, Christy, Kevin Jasper and his wife, Maureen, and Joseph Jasper II; and great granddaughter, Cali Sophia Molis.

A Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Entombment will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
