Marian Mazar of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Alameda Care Center in Perth Amboy. She was 58 years old. Born in Perth Amboy: she resided in Perth Amboy and Sewaren before moving to Avenel in 1970. She was a longtime resident of Woodbridge Developmental Center moving to Hillside Apartment Complex in Keasbey recently. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Herczeg Mazar. Surviving are a sister Kathleen Mazar of Keasbey; a brother Ronald J. Mazar of Altamonte Springs, Florida; a niece Daria Miller of Savannah, Georgia; two nephews Joseph Mazar of Orlando Florida, and Michael McGee of Altamonte Springs, Florida; a great-niece Lilly Miller; and a lifelong family friend Mary Molnar of Perth Amboy. Funeral will take place Friday, January 23, 2015 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Avenel. Entombment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
