Maria Velez of Perth Amboy passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 in Perth Amboy, NJ: She was 78 years old.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico; She resided in Perth Amboy most of her life.

Mrs. Velez was employed as a Mail Clerk with Conair in Edison for many years before retiring.

She was predeceased by her parents Zenaida and Ignacio Carabayo.

She is survived by her four children Vivian Velez, Lillian Velez, William Velez, and Richard Velez.

Private funeral services were held under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
