Maria Figueroa passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was 80 years old.

Born on October 11, 1945 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Anselma Garcia and Epifanio Figueroa, she has resided in Woodbridge since 2022.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved husband, German Alameda, in 1989; and son, Ricardo Alameda.

Surviving are her children, Migdalia Cruz of Cambridge, MD and German Alameda of Cupey, Puerto Rico.

Relatives and friends are invited to a pay their respects on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
