Maria Bruno passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at AristaCare at Delaire Nursing Center in Linden. She was 94 years old.

Born on March 23, 1927 to the late Lucia and Vincent Osnato in San Paolo, Albanese, Italy, she resided in Brooklyn and Jersey City before moving to the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township in 1996.

Mrs. Bruno was employed as a dress maker with Louise Fashions in Jersey City for 25 years prior to her retirement.

In addition to her parents Maria was predeceased by her husband, Rinaldo Bruno, in 1996; sister, Rosa Nisi; and brother, John Osnato.

Surviving are her son, Vincent Bruno, of Sewaren; brother, Agostino Osnato, of Italy; and granddaughters, Samantha and Amy Bruno.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
