Margaret M. "Peggy" Catalano passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at her home in Woodbridge. She was 86 years old.

Peggy was a graduate of Saint Peter's School of Nursing in New Brunswick and worked as a registered nurse with Perth Amboy General Hospital from 1954 until 1956 and then was employed with Pan American Airlines as flight service director from 1956 until 1988. She then worked with Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurses in Elizabeth until 1999.

She was a lifelong parishioner of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge, where she has served as parish nurse since 1999; and was active in their Social Concerns Ministry.

Miss Catalano was predeceased by her parents, Vincent Catalano in 1950 and Margaret Leahy Catalano in 1991; and brother, Bill Catalano in 1992.

Surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated for Miss Catalano on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers donations to Saint James Catholic Church, Social Concerns Ministry, 148 Grenville Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 in Peggy's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
