Magdalina A.  Titz passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Saint Joseph's Senior's Residence in Woodbridge.  She was 82 years old.

Born on June 5, 1940 in New York City to the late Magdalene and Frank Titz, she resided in Hillside for most of her life.

She was a graduate of Battin High School in Elizabeth; and was a communicant of Saint Catherine's Catholic Church in Hillside.  She loved, and was a strong advocate for, animals.

Ms. Titz was employed as an accounts payable clerk with Servico in Elizabeth for 31 years, Adeo for 5 years and Vantage in Avenel for 21 years before retiring in 2013.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Frank Tietz; dear friend Fleurette Vice; and great nephews, Mathew Tietz and Kyle Francis.

She is survived by her brother, George Titz and his wife, Mary; nieces, Sharon McPherson, Carolyn Stanton, Cathy Toms and Terry Bybee; and nephews, Frank Tietz and William Tietz.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday August 24, 2022 from 9:00 am till 11:00 am at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home at 399 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ 07001. A graveside service will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
