Madeline M. Grygotis of Aberdeen died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Ashbrook Nursing Center in Scotch Plains. She was 87 years old. Born in New Brunswick, NJ; She resided in The River Garden Section of Cliffwood most of her life. Mrs. Grygotis was employed as a waitress at The Hideaway in Laurence Harbor for many years before retiring. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Matawan. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Grygotis who died in 1994; two sisters Ann Hartman, Eleanor Koch; and a brother William McGill. She is survived by two daughters Kathleen Gigantino and her husband Len of Colonia, Karen Haspel of Keyport and her fiancé Marc Schneck of Old Bridge; and a son Kenneth Grygotis and his wife Lois of Colonia; seven grandchildren Sarah Haspel, Alexandra Grygotis, Rachel Haspel, Giana Gigantino, Lenny Gigantino, and Jessica Gigantino, and Stephan Smolen. Funeral will take place Wednesday, January 26, 2011 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com) 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
