Lybia E. Burgos of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Patterson.  She was 83 years old.

Born in Ecuador; She resided in Jersey City; before moving to Avenel in January.

Mrs. Burgos was an OB/GYN with Planned Parenthood and North Hudson Community Corporation in North Bergen before retiring in 2013.

She was predeceased by her husband Armando who passed away in 2012: her brothers and sisters Enrique Estrella Gonzalo Estrella P.E., and Nancy E. Otero, P.E.

Surviving are her daughter Sandra A, Burgos; her step-son Dr.  Armando Misael Burgos ;her grandson Avery Armando Burgos; her sister Sonia E. Mottola; her brother Dr. Alfredo Estrella Loor.

Private funeral services took place under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, Avenel.
