Lucy Ciardiello Sisko passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 89 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy on February 7, 1933 to the late Ursula and Salvatore Ciardiello, she was raised in Port Reading and then moved to Woodbridge when she was 21 years old.  She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School Class of 1951.

Lucy was employed as cashier and bookkeeper by Woodbridge Car Wash for over 55 years.

She was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge.

In addition to her parents, Lucy was predeceased by her sisters, Carmella "Mamie" Diana in 1996, Grace Napolitano in 2003, and Margaret Daniels in 1999; and brothers, Vincent "Jimmy" Ciardiello in 1998, Rocco "Rocky" Anthony Ciardiello in 1997, and Donato "Danny" Ciardiello in 1989.

Surviving are her daughter, Margaret Ganovsky and her husband, John, of Woodbridge; children of the heart, Stacey Roy of Brick and Kelli DeMarco and her husband, Roy, of Woodbridge; and grandchildren of the heart, Roy DeMarco, Hayley Roy, Gianna DeMarco and Bradley Roy; sisters in law, Arlene Sisko Davin of Seattle, WA and MaryAnn "Babe" Ciardiello of Woodbridge; and many nieces, nephews, and family friends.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Saint James Food Pantry, 149 Grove Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 in Lucy's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
