Louise M. Sadowski of Perth Amboy passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was 89 years old. She was born in and a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy. Ms. Sadowski was a Lab Technician with Union Carbide in Bound Brook for 30 years before retiring in 1984. Louise loved flowers and animals. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Stephen's R.C. Church in Perth Amboy. She was predeceased by her parents, Anton and Mary Grezkowiak Sadowski; and a brother, Leonard Sadowski. She is survived by her sister Genevieve Antonelli of Port Reading; her loving and caring niece, Lorie Nyers; four great nieces and nephews, Billy Nyers, Nisey Mansfield, Richie Nyers and Christine Massaro; three nieces, Lisa Amato, Lenora Luparello and Lillian Sowder; a nephew, Kenneth Sadowski; eighteen great nieces and nephews; and two great great nieces. Visiting hours will be Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's R.C. Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sayreville.
