Louise Charles of Perth Amboy passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy on Friday, August 19, 2022.  She was 86 years old.

Born in Jacmel, Haiti; She resided in Brooklyn before moving to Perth Amboy.

Ms. Charles was employed as a Home Health Aid for various agencies.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Fleurissaint; Her parents Celimese Charles and Fabre Rochefort.

She is survived by her children Mario Fleurissaint, Chantal Fleurissaint, Etzer Fleurissaint, Mireille Fleurissaint, Gerald Fleurissaint, Myriam Fleurissaint, Marie Carmel Toussaint; her sister Marie Jose Cajuste and her brothers Victor Charles and Jean-Claude Charles; 16 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.

Visiting hours are Monday, August 29 ^th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel, NJ.

The funeral will take place Tuesday, August 30 ^th at 10:00am at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 244 Avenel Street and North Madison Avenue, Avenel, NJ.  Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, 792 East Edgar Road, Linden.
