Louis Angel Novelo passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Robert Wood University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 75 years old.

Born in Belize on June 21, 1948 to the late Maria and Jose Novelo, he resided in Woodbridge before moving to Edison.

Mr. Novelo was employed as a truck driver, mechanic and retired as a manager with Wakefern Food Corporation in Elizabeth.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Roberto Carlos Novelo; his siblings Linda Smith, Roberto Novelo ,Maria Madgalena Novelo, and Orlando Novelo

Surviving are his wife, Edelmira Galvez Novelo; and children, Patricia Novelo, Louis Novelo, Jr., Eduardo Novelo and Leticia Novelo; his siblings his siblings Harry Lui, Lelia Wright, Arturo Novelo, Mario Novelo Reymundo Novelo, and Carlos Novelo,

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, May 27, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service taking place at 4:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.
