Lorna O'Neill passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 62 years old.

Born in Sacramento, CA on October 24, 1960, she is a longtime resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township.

Ms. O'Neill was a licensed practical nurse and worked for many years at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.

Lorna was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel where she belonged to the Rosary Society. She enjoyed tricky tray auctions, playing bingo and had a strong fondness for strawberries and anything strawberry related.

Surviving are her longtime companion and husband of 24 years, Thomas Krygier; mother, Eleanor Biel, of Auburn, CA; children, William K. O'Neill, Brian J. O'Neill, Shannon E. O'Neill and Lianna P. O'Neill-Krygier; grandchildren, Kayla Rodriguez, Julian O'Neill, Kaeleb O'Neill and Andelycia O'Neill; aunt, Gail Black, of Auburn, CA; and loving niece, Stephanie Biel.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
