Loretta A. Seder, of Linden, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 72 years old.

Born in Corona, Queens, NY, she resided in Bayside Queens and Hawley, PA before moving to Linden 20 years ago.

The center of her world was always family, her children, grandchildren, brother, sister, nieces and nephews. She went with God to heaven surrounded by her family. She taught love, values and kindness to everyone. She gladly donated her time to helping others. Her struggles are over and she is in peace with God.

Mrs. Seder was a former parishioner of Saint Elizabeth's R.C. Church in Linden where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was presently a parishioner of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel. She was an active blood donor throughout her life.

S he is survived by a daughter, Laura Scioscia and her husband, John, of Fords; two sons, Thomas Fyfe and his wife, Yvette, of Linden and Ron Seder and his wife, Kim, of Grand Prairie, TX; a sister, Phyllis Massaro, of Bayside, NY; a brother, Anthony Citrola, of Floral Park, NY; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Gregory, Veronica, Mia and Angelina.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
