Lois Grace Edge passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 89 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Parlin and Woodbridge before moving to Somerset 3 years ago.

Mrs. Edge was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School, Class of 1949; and employed as a teller with Perth Amboy Savings Institution for 12 years before her retirement in 1985.

She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Perth Amboy and the Presbyterian Women at the church. She was also a member of Raritan Chapter #58, Order of the Eastern Star, Market Square Seniors in Perth Amboy, the Sewaren Seniors and the Red Hat Society.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Calvin Kurowsky in 1984 and Vincent Edge in 1998; brother, Charles Davis, in 2017; and granddaughter, Robyn Kurowsky, in 1981.

Surviving are her children, Nancy Burkhead (William) of Moncks Corner, SC and Charles Kurowsky (Stephanie) of Avenel; sister in law, Thelma Davis; grandchildren, Scott (Colleen) and Jennifer Kurowsky; great grandchildren, Ryan and Lucy Kurowsky; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
