Lisa Marie Tranchida of Woodbridge passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. She was 45 years old. Born in Rahway, NJ; She resided in Woodbridge all of her life. Ms. Tranchida was a 1987 graduate of Woodbridge High School; she attended Kean University where she earned a bachelors degree in Social Work. Lisa dedicated her life to helping others and was employed as a Social Worker with Easter Seals of New Jersey in East Brunswick for many years. Ms. Tranchida was a member of the Reformed Church of Metuchen. She was pre-deceased by her mother Joan Tranchida who passed away in 2008. She is survived by a brother John Tranchida and his wife Donna of Manahawkin; her father Joseph Tranchida of Cape Coral, FL; a niece Noelle Tranchida; and a nephew Cole Tranchida. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.Costello-greiner.com) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral service will take place Friday, February 27, 2015 11:00 a.m. at the Reformed Church of Metuchen 150 Lake Avenue, Metuchen, NJ. Cremation will be private.
