Lisa Singer of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, July 1, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison.  She was 67 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy She resided in Colonia and Westfield before moving to Avenel 25 years ago.

Lisa was a Graduate of Westfield High School and Kean University.

She had a long career as Bookkeeper including Shalom Industries in Carteret and was a Election Poll Worker for Woodbridge Township for many years.

She had a passion and talent for Saltwater Fishing.

Mrs. Singer was predeceased by her parents Bernard and Eleanor Wisneski Cheress.

She is survived by her husband Kevin Singer of Avenel; her brother David, her sister Amy; and many nieces and nephews

A Memorial Prayer service will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 5:30 pm at Costello-Koyen Funeral home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.  Visiting hours will beginning at 4:00 pm.
