Linda Bartus passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2016 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 60 years old.

Born in Newark, she resided in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township for most of her life.

Mrs. Bartus was employed as office manager for Briarpatch Toys in Millburn for 7 years until 2014.

She was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading and active with the Children of Mary at the church; and was also active with the Port Reading Saints Football team for many years.

She was predeceased by her father, Donald Hahn, in 2003; and her mother in law, Rose Bartus, in 2011.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Daniel Bartus, Jr.; her children, Danielle Bartus of Port Reading and Paul Bartus of Carteret; her mother, Dolores Hahn, of Port Reading; a sister, Jody O'Connor, of Carteret; and her father in law, Daniel Bartus, Sr., of Edison.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Port Reading. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ), 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue) in Woodbridge .
