Leonard F. Giacalone passed away on Monday April 25, 2022 at his home in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township. He was 92 years old.

Born in Elizabeth and He has lived in Colonia for the past  60 years.

Mr. Giacalone owned and operated Lenny's Roofing & Painting in Colonia.

He was a U.S Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was a Communicant of St. John Vianney R.C. Church in Colonia and was a member of the T. Nulty Post #471 American Legion in Iselin and was member of The Knights of Columbus Pope John Paul I Council #6571 in Colonia.

He was predeceased by his parents Leonardo and Marie Giacalone; and his sisters Mary Ilardo, Eleanor Rishko and Kathleen Newman.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 63 years Dolores Giacalone of Colonia; his children Leonard Giacalone of Colonia; Nancy Giacalone of Colonia, and Maryann Sadler of Holmdel; four grandchildren Jonathan, Joseph, Jacob and Abigail Sadler; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place Thursday April 28, 2022 11:00am at St Gertrude's Mausoleum, Colonia. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home.
