Lenard J. Keister passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. He was 51 years old.

Born in Jersey City, he has resided in Woodbridge Township for all of his life.

Lenard was employed by A&G Fine Foods in Fords for 37 years, most recently as an operations manager.

He was devoted to his family, especially enjoying many good times with them boating and fishing and at their beach house in Long Beach Island; and was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan.

His father, James H. Keister, passed away in 2001.

Surviving are his mother, June Worrall Keister, of Woodbridge; wife, Debra Hart-Keister; children, James R., Kaitlyn and Alexa Keister; sister and brother in law, Laura and Richard Bowie, of Westminster, MD; and nephews and niece, Andrew, Tyler, Brayden and Brielle Bowie.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Costello-GreinerFuneral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Due to current social distancing rules the funeral home is limited to 50 persons at a time. We'd ask those attending the visitation to respect others and limit the time they spend paying their respects.
