Lawrence Suchak passed away on Monday September 22, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 78 years old.

Born on January 29, 1947 to the late Vincent and Genevieve Suchak in Bayonne, he was a resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for the last 52 years.

Mr. Suchak was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

He worked as a welder with Exxon in Bayonne for 32 years before retiring in 2000; and then worked as a crossing guard at Avenel Street and Park Avenue for 19 years.

Surviving are his wife, Susanne Suchak; children, Lawrence Suchak, Jr. and his wife, Christa, of Langhorne, PA, Lori-Ann Krawczyk of Kenilworth, Karen Connolly and her husband, Sean, of South Amboy, and Vincent Suchak and his wife, Erica, of Clark; brother, Raymond Suchak of West Springfield, MA; and grandchildren, Molly Krawczyk, Jake Krawczyk, Vincent Suchak, Jr. and Sophia Suchak.

Funeral Services were conducted privately under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home 399 Avenel Street Avenel, NJ 07001.
