Laura Christine Meier passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at AristaCare at Parkside in Linden, surrounded by her children. She was 74years old.

Born in Jersey City on October 10, 1951 to the late Marion (Murphy) andFrancis Dugan, she resided in Winfield Park, NJ, Babylon, NY, andWoodbridge Township, NJ for most of her life.

Laura's proudest achievement and greatest joy in life was raising her fourchildren. Later in life she was employed as a secretary with OhmLaboratories in New Brunswick and Americomm in Mountainside for many years prior to her retirement. Laura earned a Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate from Lincoln Tech in 2012.

Surviving are her loving children, Don Meier and his wife, Catherine, of Lindenhurst, NY, Amy Meier of Old Bridge, Lisa Sanfilippo and her husband, John, of Fords, and Molly Meier of Eagleville, PA; brothers, Edward Duganand his wife, Diane, of Fanwood, Brian Dugan and his wife, Jamie, of Gulfport, FL, and Tom Dugan and his wife, Amy, of Woodland Hills, CA; three grandchildren, Julia, Christine and James; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 14, 2026 at10:00 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Friends and relatives areinvited to pay their respects on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. atCostello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
