Kevin Peter Drake passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center. He was 67 years old.

Born in and raised in Brooklyn he resided in Port Reading before moving to Iselin 4 years ago.

He was employed as a Hospitality Manager at The Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan for the past 20 years.

He was a member and shop steward for Unite Here Local #100, New York

He was predceased by his parents Peter and theresa Hone Drake.

Surviving are his wife JoAnn Eidson Drake; his children Kevin J. Drake of Georgia, Kathleen Patricia Castillo of Staten Island, and Kelly Anne DeAngelis of Staten Island; his stepson Joseph Scangarella ;a sister Patricia Drake of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brotehr Dennis Drake of Robbinsvile, NJ; and two grandchildren Noelle DeAngelis and Aidan Castillo.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading. Cremation will be private.

Visiting hours will be Tueday June 26, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
