Kenneth Oscar Iversen passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division. He was 65 years old.
Born on June 1, 1958 in Perth Amboy to the late Patricia and Fred Iversen, he resided in Woodbridge for most of his life. Ken also resided in Sparta, Paramus and Jersey City.
Mr. Iversen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge.
He graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and was employed as manager of film production and operations with Kodak Polychrome Graphics in Clark; vice president of operations with The Robert Group in Carlstadt; enterprise project manager with Eastman Kodak Company Graphics in Fort Collins, CO, Munich, Germany and Columbus, GA; project manager with American Express Company at their New York City Headquarters; and, most recently, owned and operated FWI, LLC, a real estate and investment management firm.
In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his brother, Chris Iversen.
Surviving are his loving wife, Yahumara "Jamie" Iversen, of Woodbridge; son, William; and cousin, David Allen, and his family of Brick.
Ken was a good, loving, caring and patient person and a loyal friend and dedicated husband. An amazing dad and committed provider. Ken was a man of his word with a flawless character and integrity.
Funeral services will take place 12 noon on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery 600 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), Woodbridge.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge, 600 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 and/or The NICU of The New York Presbyterian Hospital, 520 E 70th St, New York, NY 10021 in Mr. Iversen's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
