Kathleen A. Gorman passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 71 years old.

Born on September 20, 1950 in Newark to the late Ann and James Gorman, she has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township since 2004.

Miss Gorman was employed as a 1 ^st grade teacher with the Newark Board of Education for 40 years prior to her retirement in 2014.

Surviving are her domestic partner, James Bugam; step children, Tamikie Bugam of Edison, Sharikia Bugam of Avenel and Marqunie Bugam of Avenel; and brother, James Gorman.

Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects on Friday, January 28, 2022 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
