Karen M.
Dunn
March 25, 1959 — January 20, 2021
Colonia
On Wednesday, January 20th, 2021, devoted mother and caring wife, Karen M. Dunn, passed away at the tender age of 61.
Born in Staten Island, NY, Karen was the sixth of eight children, quickly finding her voice and becoming an outspoken individual; a trait she would later instill in her own children.
After completing highschool, Karen took great pride in her lengthy career as an underwriter's assistant. In her later years, she played a vital role at Saint George Veterinary Hospital.
With so much love to give, Karen, a career-minded woman decided to take on the role of a full time mom herself. Settling in Woodbridge township in the late 80's, she became a mother to a bustling household with six children of her own.
With an unmatched enthusiasm for life, Karen cherished music, singing, concerts and great conversation. Whether it be her contagious laughter or eye catching smile, Karen brightened up the room wherever she went.
She leaves her love with her husband of 28 years, Michael, and her children, Matthew, Christopher, James, Andrew and twin daughters, Katelyn and Alexis. She also leaves behind her sisters Carol, Susan, Diane and Lori; her brothers, Richard; and grandchildren, Delila, Griffin and Hawk.
Karen will now be reunited with her sister, Judith, brother, Robert, mother Marie, and father Robert Sr.
A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. that afternoon. A Prayer service will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home.
Due to current social distancing rules, the funeral home is limited to 50 persons at a time. We ask those attending the visitation to respect others and limit the time they spend while paying their respects.
The family appreciates anyone who wishes to attend and pay their respects. Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home, but please send your condolences in any way you feel is appropriate. Charitable donations are asked to be sent to any cancer organization of your choosing, in Karen's memory.

I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more"
