Julia Achimovic of the Port reading section of Woodbridge Township passed away at Complete Care at Clark on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.  She was 87 years old.

Born in Sewaren She resided there and Port Reading all her life.

Julia was smart, funny, and kind, she was loved and will be missed by all.  She loved word games, scrabble, crossword puzzles and was amazing at Trivia games.

She was a longtime Communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Port Reading.

She was predeceased by her husband Victor Achimovic who passed away in 2007; her parents Allen and Julia Wentz Snyder; her sister Theresa Snyder; her brothers Alan Snyder and James Snyder.

She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Achimovic and Christine Achimovic; her sister Ethel Merchinson; and a brother Charles Snyder.

Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
