Judy Snyder passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 71 years old. Born in New York City, she has resided in Carteret for 40 years. Mrs. Snyder attended weekly mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Woodbridge. She also loved Atlantic City and playing bingo. She was a predeceased by her parents, James Patrick and Catherine Bohan O'Toole; and two brothers, Daniel and James O'Toole. Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald Snyder; a daughter, Janet Snyder; three sons, Brian Snyder of Florida, Daniel Snyder of Carteret and Kenneth Snyder of Woodbridge; a brother, Steve O'Toole, of Clark; and a granddaughter, Danielle Snyder. Funeral services will take place on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. from the Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
