Judith A. Thacker passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She heroically battled cancer for the past 20 months before departing us at 76 years old.

Born in Kingsport, TN during WWII; "Judy" spent her first years on her mother Juanita "Pearl" Stout-Terzella's ancestral farm. Moving to NJ upon her father, Maj. John C. Terzella's honorable discharge from service, reuniting the family. She has been a lifelong resident of Woodbridge Township from then on, living in Colonia since 1985. She is predeceased by both parents.

A graduate of Woodbridge High School Class of '62 she matriculated to Douglas College, earning both a Bachelor's, and Master's Degree in Library Sciences from Rutgers University. Judy shared her love of reading & written language as a librarian in the Children's Department of the Woodbridge Public Library system for 9 years, before retiring in 1978 to raise a family.

She instilled a joy for books, art, theatre, and design in her surviving children, Kathryn Thacker of Colonia and Drew Thacker of New York City; and sister, Mary Terzella-Millen of Verona.
