Judith Plytynski-Young passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2015 Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, with her family by her side. She was 62 years old. Born in Jersey City, she has resided in Woodbridge for 30 years. Ms. Young earned both her bachelors and master degrees from Kean College in Union. Ms. Plytynski-Young was employed as a crisis counselor with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care in Piscataway. Judith was an advocate for individuals with mental health disorders. She was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Bertha Kaczorek Plytynski. Surviving are her daughter, Kelly Young of Woodbridge; a sister Christina Zaniewski and her husband Raymond of Metuchen; two brothers James Plytynski and his wife Dianeof Frenchtown, NJ and Stanley Plytynski and his wife tricia of Hamilton, NJ; 8 nieces and nephews Jessica, Jeffrey, Debbie, Michael, Shannon, Thomas, Kathryn, and Emily; a grandniece Madeleine Ashley. Funeral services will take place on Monday, August 10, 2015 9:00 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church Main Street and Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge.
